Terms of service.

These terms are an agreement between you and NodeAI, the operator of AccountsAI. By creating an account you accept them. They are written to be read, not to hide things — if anything is unclear, ask us before you rely on it.

1. The service

AccountsAI lets businesses create and send invoices, quotations and proposals, record payments, manage clients and documents, and optionally collect payment online through their own Stripe account. Features vary by plan as described on the pricing page.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate registration details and keep your credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account, including team members you invite and the access levels you grant them.
• Accounts registered by bots, or with false identities, may be removed without notice.

3. Trial, billing and cancellation

• New accounts start with a free trial (7 days). No payment details are required to trial.
• When the trial ends, the account pauses until a plan is chosen. Nothing is deleted — your records remain stored and export stays available.
• Paid plans renew automatically (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. You can cancel any time from the billing page; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for.
• Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or where we failed to provide the service.
• Plan limits (users, clients, invoices, storage) are enforced per the plan you choose; prices may change with notice ahead of your next renewal.

4. Your content

The invoices, client records, documents and other content you create remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store, process, back up and display that content to run the service. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of what you invoice — including charging the correct taxes for your jurisdiction. AccountsAI is a tool, not an accountant or a tax adviser.

5. Payments between you and your clients

Online invoice payment runs through your own Stripe account under your agreement with Stripe. We are not a party to transactions between you and your clients, we never hold your funds, and disputes between you and your clients are yours to resolve.

6. Acceptable use

• No unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive invoicing.
• No spam: email sent through your connected SMTP/Resend account must comply with anti-spam law and your provider's rules.
• No attempts to breach, probe or overload the platform, or to access another tenant's data.

We may suspend accounts that violate these rules; where practical we will warn you first.

7. Availability and support

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced where possible. Support is provided through the in-app support desk and by email.

8. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect losses, or for loss caused by third-party services (including Stripe and email providers) or by content you or your team enter.

9. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these terms. On closure you may export your records; after deletion we retain only what billing and tax law requires us to keep.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; significant changes will be notified to account owners by email before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without affecting mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
